Don't Look At The Sun is a psychological horror puzzle game where a cheerful mascot hides increasingly disturbing secrets. Mr. Sun floats against a bright blue sky, accompanied by one warning: never look directly at the sun. Find the hidden solar targets and uncover the truth behind the warning!
EVERY STAGE IN DON'T LOOK AT THE SUN
In Don't Look At The Sun, ordinary interface elements become unexpected puzzle pieces. Hovering over Mr. Sun gradually overexposes the screen until terrifying white fills the display. Drifting clouds, calendar pages, and Japanese kanji demand different interactions, including removing a stroke from “eye” (目) to form “sun” (日).
When the Interface Becomes the Puzzle
Later challenges replace obvious visual targets with stranger clues. A BGM slider can restore Mr. Sun's cheerful glare, while a blacked-out picture diary hides wordplay. The bulletin board accepts country names like Japan and Argentina, generating flags containing solar symbols. Even a deceptive Unity loading screen hides a clue within rearranged sound-effect labels.
Two Ways to Face the Warning
The standard route requires finding and staring at hidden suns despite increasingly unsettling visual distortions. The secret True Ending follows the title literally: remaining completely inactive during Stage 1 for approximately one minute unlocks an alternate outcome. This unusual contradiction makes obedience just as important as puzzle-solving.
