HOW TO PLAY UNDERTALE
Undertale builds each encounter around choices that can completely change how you handle an enemy. FIGHT lets you attack through a timing-based strike, while ACT provides unique interactions for different monsters. ITEM lets you use supplies from your inventory, and MERCY offers ways to spare or flee. In addition, enemy turns then place your SOUL inside a battle box filled with distinctive bullet patterns. So, movement becomes essential as attacks change shape, direction, and timing. Exploration also connects these encounters with puzzles, conversations, and environmental interactions throughout the Underground.
