Between rounds, players purchase upgrades that alter slot outcomes, strengthen multipliers, or unlock dangerous synergies. Inventory limits force difficult choices because weaker combinations quickly become useless against rising debt requirements. Strange phone calls, environmental interactions, and disturbing retro effects constantly interrupt concentration while psychological tension grows heavier during longer runs. Endless Mode increases the challenge further through stronger debt scaling and increasingly punishing survival conditions.
